Hello lovelies! I’m Chloe, a 22 year old recent maths graduate. Originally from a small town just outside of Yorkshire but have been lucky enough to call Scotland, Birmingham and Reading home at various points in my life. I have plans to be a teacher one day but not before I’ve seen some more of the world.
I have a a love of anything pink, girly and sparkly. An avid cocktail and sunset enthusiast and former dancer. The best way to keep me happy is with a big glass of wine and an even bigger bar of chocolate.
Despite a fear of flying I’m utterly obsessed with the idea of seeing the world. Which is a bit strange when I think about how much of a home girl I was when I was younger.
I share most of my adventures with my partner in crime of the past 3 years – Mark. He’s currently living about 6 hours away in the north of Scotland and I miss him everyday. I’m so lucky to have met someone who shares the same dreams of travelling as me and I can’t wait to see where life takes us. Mark tends to be the one behind the camera although I occasionally attempt to include him in a few photos.
I’m pretty new to this blogging thing, but I am so excited about creating my own little piece of the internet, so please stick with me while I figure it out.
If you want to know anything more than feel free to send me a message, I’m always up for a good chat!
About the Blog
Fun Fact: The name World Meet Chloe was actually thought up by my sister – she bought me a scratch map for Christmas with it written underneath and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since.
When I was about 18 or 19 I decided that whatever happened I would take a year out after University to go travelling and see as much of the world as possible. Despite how much of a cliché that is I’ve been totally determined to make it happen.
I think it all stems from my travels while I was still at school. I went on two utterly life-changing trips to South Africa & Romania at the age of 16/17 and I’ve had itchy-feet ever since.
I initially started this blog as a way for my family and friends to keep track of what I was up to during my travels. But then I completely fell in love with blogging and I’m having way too much fun in my little corner of the internet.
Nowadays as well as writing about all my travels both near and far, I also blog about pretty much anything else I feel like. Basically whatever’s going on in my brain could end up as a post!
Please have a click through some of my posts and do let me know what you think! I’m so excited about my little blog and would love to know someone else is too!
